i don’t wanna hear
about yesterday
with all that shit
he used to say
i want to hear about here and now
like how i set your heart on fire
and how you know you’ll never tire
of my endless wit, delightful charm
how everything i seem to do
shows you you’re mine
and’ll always be true
about how whenever you’re with me
you can’t explain it, it’s just the way
you know it’s always meant to be.
